Role: Office Manager
Hours: Monday to Friday (Full Time)
Salary: Up to £30k per annum
Duration: 9-12 months
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office, ensuring a smooth and efficient work environment. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate office operations and procedures to ensure organisational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock and ordering new supplies as necessary.
- Organise and schedule meetings and appointments, ensuring all necessary arrangements are made.
- Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail, in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the office environment.
- Support HR functions, including onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager, PA, or Administrative Assistant.
- Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular).
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritise work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
- A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements.
