Key Responsibilities for the Purchasing Assistant:
Purchase stock from our wholesaler, ensuring timely and efficient procurement.Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer demands.Coordinate with global purchasing teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.Conduct regular stock audits and resolve any discrepancies or issues.Update and maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and stock levels.Provide administrative support to the purchasing department as required.
Requirements for the Purchasing Assistant:
Previous experience in purchasing or a strong administrative background.Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.Ability to multi task and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.Analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong IT Skills - Knowledge of Sap would be beneficial
