The company comprehensive service for complete legislation compliance. The consultancy works closely with their clients to understand and manage cladding and internal combustibility risk, defects and remedial issues.

They are presently overseeing the refurbishment of multiple facades on residential buildings and they work with a wide range of clients from social housing providers, landlords, private consortiums and management companies.They are looking for an Graduate Quantity Surveyor who will work on cladding upgrades and remedial works to existing buildings. You will report to a Senior Quantity Surveyor and will be involved in all commercial duties and will assist in managing all commercial aspects of projects from inception to final account.This is a great opportunity for an Graduate Quantity Surveyoror Assistant Quantity Surveyor either a consultancy or contractor background who is looking to complete their Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and work toward full MRICS membership.Responsibilities of the Graduate Quantity Surveyor:

  • Supporting senior staff in the preparation of tender and contract documents.
  • Negotiating with clients and contractors, and cost control and planning.
  • Additionally, you will assist with project completion reports and providing solutions to delays, deviations, and other problems that arise during construction.

Qualifications and experience of the Graduate Quantity Surveyor:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or HNC or equivalent would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Good communication skills and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under supervision while developing your surveying skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • A willingness to learn and progress, as well as to help develop your team and the business as a whole.
