  • Processing purchase ledger transactions and supplier payment runs
  • Matching purchase orders and reconciling supplier statements
  • Handling staff expenses and reconciling credit card payments
  • Completing bank reconciliations and supporting transactional finance processes
  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as answering calls, managing daily post and handling enquiries
  • Supporting the Financial Controller with management accounts as experience develops
What you will need:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant / Ledger Clerk / Ledger Assistant / Finance Administrator / Accounts Administrator
  • A keen eye for accuracy and the ability to manage transactional finance processes
  • Strong Excel skills – including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
  • A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn and a collaborative approach
  • Experience with Xero or similar systems is preferred
