Mechanical Design Engineer

Carbon60 are working with an exciting, expanding water treatment company located in Somerset to introduce a full-time Mechanical Design Engineer to work on-site with their industry leading water treatment and purification products.

This role will be within the growing design team requires the use of the full design life-cycle; from producing drawings, liaising with clients and providing technical input during the engineering of the products.

Job Description

• Producing intricate technical drawings using SolidWorks
• Design based role working on innovative water treatment solutions
• Work to high industry standards within client specifications
• Develop the company's existing 3D library

Requirements:

• Degree level in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering or equivalent
• Experience using SolidWorks
• Ability to work to strict timescales
• Produce and review drawings within timescales

Beneficial experience:

• Working knowledge of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
• Knowledge of Piping, Plant Equipment, Tanks and/or Vessels

Pay and Benefits

• Up to 40k p/a
• 10% Annual Company Performance Bonus
• Full time, Permanent role, 40 hours a week
• On-site in their brand-new facility based in Cheddar, Somerset
