We are delighted to be working on behalf of PGL Beyond to appoint a Group Financial Accountant to its Head Office team based in Ross-on-Wye. As pioneers of adventure since 1957, the business was acquired by Midlothian Capital Partners (MCP) in January 2019 and is now shaping itself for an exciting journey ahead, resulting a compelling and exciting opportunity for a recently qualified Accountant.

Location
Headquartered in beautiful Ross-On-Wye, the finance team follows a hybrid schedule working in-office two days a week and remotely for the rest. Its in-office time is used primarily for team meetings and formal and informal collaboration.
Role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the purpose of the role is to meet all PGL Beyond’s financial compliance requirements, to include statutory and financial regulatory reporting and tax compliance for 21 UK stat entities, which consists of a complex PE structure and debt/equity structure. This role will oversee company tax which includes interest restriction and transfer pricing. This role will work closely with the CFO and GFC, supporting financial due diligence, tax due diligence and any other financial requests to ensure all regulatory compliance requirements are met.

About You
As a recently or newly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) with IFRS financial reporting or Top10 audit experience, you will possess strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to influence at all levels of the business.
