We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Sales Advisorwho has excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to convert enquiries into new customers, provide quotes and process orders with a sense of urgency.
Working as the Sales Advisor you will be responsible for developing sales in line with targets and budget, ensuring sales performance is maximised.
As the Sales Advisor you will focus on the day-to-day sales activity in the branch; dealing with customer calls, pricing enquiries, orders and delivery instructions.
The company aim to provide a first class, quality service to customers and therefore product knowledge and expertise are an essential part of the role.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Sales Advisor include:
- Maximise sales and margin by building relationships with customers
- Develop strong customer relationships through excellence of service
- Ensure that branch and company guidelines on margins are followed
- Pro-actively look to find opportunities to up sell and gain add on sale
- Identify and develop sales opportunities with new customers and across differing market sectors
- Recommend any new sales and margin opportunities for products, customers, and markets
- Place direct sales orders, organise delivery times, and communicate with customers
- Ensure you understand your local competition and what they can offer
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Proven Track Record in Building Materials Sales: Demonstrated success in a sales environment within the construction or building materials sector
Exceptional Customer Relationship Management: Ability to build rapport, understand customer needs, and deliver consistently high levels of service
Clear and Persuasive Communication: Skilled in communicating product features and benefits, both verbally and in written form, to customers
Proficient in Point-of-Sale and Inventory Management Systems (Desirable): Comfortable using computer systems for order processing, stock checks, and customer data management
Driven to Exceed Sales Targets: Proactively identifies opportunities to upsell and cross-sell, maximising revenue and customer satisfaction
Expert Consultative Selling Skills: Ability to provide expert advice and guidance, recommending appropriate products and solutions to meet customer project requirements
