English and Drama Teacher Required for a Hereford School

Key Stage 3 and 4

ASAP start

Long-term post – Full-time

An English and Drama Teacher is required  for a mainstream School in Hereford. The school have high expectations that are combined with outstanding teaching, leading each student to be aspirational and determined to succeed.

The five day a week role starts immediately and will be teaching English and Drama across Key Stages 3 with some Key Stage 4 lessons. Your role is to help students achieve excellent results in English and Drama whilst keeping a high standard of teaching and a positive and enthusiastic approach.

Newly Qualified Teachers are also encouraged to apply.

Applicants need to have:

  • QTS with English or Drama specialism
  • Experience teaching English and Drama up to KS3
  • Good classroom management
  • Excellent behavioural management
  • Ability to fulfil all aspects of a full teaching role
  • Good communication skills
  • A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
  • Instructors are also encouraged to apply as well as educators working towards QTLS.

For right candidate the position may extend for the rest of the academic year.
