Job Overview:
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting their quantity surveying team in the successful delivery of construction projects. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects while learning from experienced professionals in the field. Key Responsibilities:
Assisting in the preparation of tender and contract documents, budgets, and cost estimates.
Assisting with the measurement and valuation of work completed on site.
Collaborating with the project team to monitor project costs and variations.
Supporting the negotiation and resolution of contractual disputes and claims.
Conducting regular site visits to ensure accurate measurement and assessment of work.
Utilising industry-standard software for quantity surveying and project management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using relevant quantity surveying software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and self-motivated attitude.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
