Accounts Assistant

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a company that helps businesses be environmentally compliant. The role is based in Ross on Wye and would suit a candidate with some credit control experience and a salary of up to £25,000 is available.

Responsibilities:

- Record daily incoming payments in the finance system.

- Set up new client accounts within the finance system.

- Process and manage cheque payments.

- Conduct credit checks for new and existing clients.

- Send email statements, payment reminders, and duplicate invoices.

- Process credit notes and maintain accurate records in spreadsheets.

- Follow up on overdue payments via email and telephone.

- Address financial queries efficiently and effectively.

What we are looking for?

- Previous experience as a Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant or Credit Control Assistant

- It would be desirable to be AAT qualified.

- Excellent user of Excel; pivot tables, lookups

- Previous Business Central use an advantage
