Are you an immediately available Finance Assistant?

We have a lovely opportunity to work within a large family run business near Ross on Wye.

This will initially be on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

This role will include:

  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Raising and matching purchase orders to purchases, and addressing any queries
  • Communicating with suppliers
  • Creating sales invoices
  • Managing bank payments
  • Communicating with suppliers
  • Handling the accounts inbox for general queries
  • Reconciling credit card statements
  • Spreadsheet production and reporting
  • Managing purchasing tasks

Necessary Experience:

  • Understanding and Experience of Xero 
  • Previous experience in a similar role (2 years preferred)
  • Excellent Microsoft Office user knowledge (esp. Excel)

  • Capability to work independently as well as part of a team
