What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Producing monthly management accounts for all group entities
  • Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow forecasting
  • Performing KPI and variance analysis, plus in-depth OPEX analysis
  • Overseeing purchase order (PO) and goods received note (GRN) internal controls
  • Acting as a key contact for statutory financial audits
  • Handling HMRC reporting, including quarterly VAT and Aggregate Levy Returns
  • Submitting quarterly waste returns to the Environment Agency
  • Mentoring junior finance staff and supporting their development
  • Assisting with ERP system upgrades and process improvements
  • Supporting the Head of Finance with finance projects and additional functions
  • Flexibility to travel between Haslingden and Warrington as required
What We’re Looking For:
  • CIMA, ACA, or ACCA (Qualified, Part-Qualified, or QBE)
  • Proven experience in management accounts preparation
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills – confident with VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and financial modelling
  • A keen eye for detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Problem-solving mindset – always looking for ways to improve processes
