Our client in Haslingden is looking to recruit a 7.5 Tonne Driver to work out of their manufacturing and distribution site
The work will involve:
- Delivery of Furniture to clients in a 7.5 Tonne vehicle
- Working with another driver or drivers mate
- Unloading vehicles at each drop
- Helping with taking furniture into customers premises and laying out to a site plan
- Doing basic assembly duties where needed
- Heavy lifting
The working times and pay:
- Monday to Friday
- 03:00-04:00 starts
- £12.50 - £13.00 p/h initially, reviewed at 3 months for potential increase
- Weekend work on rare occasions
- Overtime paid at x 1.25 over 40 hours and any weekend work x 1.5
- Shift length can vary dependant on route, traffic and number of drops
Experience/Qualifications Needed:
- 7.5 Tonne (CAT C1) Licence
- CPC
- Digi-Tacho
- No more than 6 points due to insurance purposes
- Candidates need to be physically fit due to the nature of the role and the goods
