Job Opportunity: CNC Press Brake / CNC Punch Operator

Location: HaslingdenType: Permanent

Our client is a leading supplier of commercial equipment with over 25 years of expertise in designing and manufacturing top-quality stainless steel equipment. They are currently seeking a skilled CNC Press Brake / CNC Punch Operator to join their expanding team.

Job Purpose:

To operate a CNC Press Brake and produce fault-free products while maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily start-up and shut-down of CNC machinery.
  • Work with sheet metal to produce a variety of products and materials.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards through precise operation and visual inspection.
  • Maintain a clean and organized department.
  • Adhere to company processes, health & safety policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Check job paperwork and collaborate with the Drawing department on tooling/program issues.
  • Track and record sheet usage against scrap/waste.
  • Assemble component parts as required.
  • Meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Carry out any lawful instruction from management.

Key Skills:

  • Working knowledge of CNC machinery.
  • Experience with Trumpf Punch operations is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
  • Excellent numeracy and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Working Hours:
