Our client, based in Rossendale, are looking to recruit an experienced Sheet Metal Programmer who will assist in the creation of CNC Programs that will be produced on our Trumpf Tru Punch 1000

• Previous experience of TruTops BOOST / SOLID WORKS• Previous experience of Nesting for Trumpf equipment• Relevant experience in Sheet Metal manufacturing industry• Liaising with Production as required• Keeping Production logs updated• Working with the Punch and folding Machine operators to optimise performance• Drive down material usage• Maximise Punch and folding cycle times• Have excellent communication skills with a commitment to meeting customer’s needs• Ability to follow instructions• have a keen interest in engineering• have excellent timekeeping and attendance record• has the ability to maintain effective records with excellent organisational skills• willingness to work as part of a team as well as demonstrate the ability to work on their own initiative

Hours of work: -Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm

Optional paid overtime available during busy periods.

Job type: Full time, permanent (with 6 month probationary period)Salary: a competitive salary commensurate with the industry and locality and dependent on level of experience.

Benefits: Workplace Pension contribution as standard; 25 days Annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
