Site Manager - Mechanical

Our client is a leading provider of HVAC, integrated automation, and mechanical building services solutions across all sectors. Due to growth of the business, they're looking to bring a Mechanical Site Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of mechanical projects, particularly focusing on HVAC systems and mechanical building services. From conception to completion, the Site Manager will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role presents a great opportunity for the right candidate, with almost immediate progression into Contracts Management.

Site Manager - Mechanical

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all phases of mechanical projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to define project requirements and develop comprehensive project plans.
  • Coordinate and oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services to support project objectives.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines, identifying and addressing any deviations or obstacles to ensure project success.
  • Provide effective leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones, and potential risks or issues.
  • Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all project personnel.
  • Ensure that all project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and permits, are accurately maintained, and archived.

Site Manager - Mechanical

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or Mechanical Engineer in the HVAC and mechanical building services sector, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget (Essential).
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical engineering principles, and building codes and regulations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage project teams and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • HND/HNC or degree in building services engineering is preferred
