Rotherwood Education are looking to recruit a highly organised, flexible and enthusiastic Food Technology Technician to assist a forward-thinking Food Technology department in a Secondary school in the Haslingden area.
This position is set to start ASAP, and it is full-time and ongoing with the potential to extend until July.
The successful Food Technology Technician will:

Will assist students in cooking practicals, assist with washing up, prepping ingredients for the lessons and maintaining food safety and cleanliness within Food technology classrooms.

Have their Food Hygiene certificate and be able to follow Policies and Procedures to ensure safety and compliance within the department and be able to prepare materials for the workshop.

Ideally have previous experience in supporting Food Technology departments to KS3 and 4.

Provide details of last 2 latest references, covering the last 5 years’ work history.

Possess a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for one as part of your registration.

Be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people.
- Be willing to complete a face-to-face registration and satisfy several checks.
