Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance or Service Engineer looking to take a step back from the tools and join a company who offer a fantastic opportunities in the renewable energy sector?On offer is the opportunity to share your experience and skillset with the next generation of Engineers by becoming and Engineering Trainer and teaching new recruits as well as upskilling experienced staff for this multimillion turnover wind turbine company.

Full Training provided to the successful candidate no previous wind turbine experience needed, although beneficial.

In this role, you will be using the onsite facilities to train and coach Engineers and wind turbine technicians at the beginning of their careers through a mix of classroom and workshop teaching. You do not need to have any teaching qualifications to apply for this role.The ideal candidate for this role will be a time served (physically fit) Electrical Maintenance Engineer from a manufacturing environment, experience with some training or mentoring staff is advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate will need to pass a working at height medical.

The Role:

  • Trainer of new recruits (wind turbine technicians) as well as up skilling and rolling out new SOP to experienced staff
  • Site based in Rossendale, infrequent travel to other UK sites may be required
  • Full wind turbine training and train the trainer TTT course available

The Person:

  • Electrical Engineering qualification or apprenticeship
  • Training experience not required but is advantageous
  • Looking to join a leading global company as a technical trainer
  • Lives in a commutable distance to Rossendale or Stirling (Scotland).
