Kenton Black Finance are recruiting on behalf of a company who are situated in the Rawtenstall area. This organisation employs over 65 staff and has a turnover of circa 27 million pounds. They are now recruiting for a permanent and full-time Accounts Manager. The working hours are 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, and 8.30am to 3pm on a Friday.

Your new job as the Accounts Manager:

- Manage a busy finance department, whilst supporting a Purchase Ledger Assistant, Finance Assistant, and Sales Ledger Assistant.
- Produce procedures for the accounts department.
- Cash control to support the Financial Controller on cash flow.
- Monthly journals.
- Support the Financial Controller with monthly checks of trial balance and nominal checks.
- Reports to support the Financial Controller.
- VAT quarterly.
- Wage queries and uploading to the bank.
- Monthly payment run and upload to the bank.
- Ad hoc duties as requested by the FC

Experience and skills required to apply:

- At least 2 years experience in a similar job (e.g. Accounts Manager or Ledger Manager or Finance Manager)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail
- Organised and driven
- The ability to train others
- Supportive
