Mobile Plant Fitter - Heavy Plant Hire - Rossendale - Up to £45,000Due to company growth, our client are looking for an additional Mobile Plant Fitter to join their busy depot in Rossendale.This is a great opportunity for you to join our clients business. They are a fast-growing, successful plant, access and machinery hire company. They have the latest, top-of-the-range machinery which is maintained to the highest possible standard. The principal role of the Mobile Plant Fitter/engineer is to repair, service, and Inspect (mainly 1.5t machines and their trailers) plant and equipment at various UK locations as and where required.This includes equipment from manufacturers such as:Takeuchi, JCB, Komatsu, Doosan, John Deere, New Holland, Terex, Hamm, Ammann and Indeco, and also our clients fleet of Trailers and attachments.Mobile Plant Fitter - The Rewards

Mobile Plant Fitter - Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role at least 3 years.
- Dealership training (manufacturers listed above)… preferable but not essential.
- Understanding of engines, hydraulic systems, mechanical and electrical systems.
- Checkable references and qualifications
- A professionally recognized qualification in plant maintenance and repair
- Excellent communication & organizational skills
- A full UK driving license
- Worked on excavators, telehandlers, dumpers, rollers, trailers/associated plant and equipment.
Mobile Plant Fitter - Responsibilities
- Repair & locate faults with equipment in line with manufacturer recommendations and in a timely fashion to ensure minimum downtime
- Service equipment in-line with manufacturers' recommendations.
- Carry our PUWER & LOLER inspections for all equipment.
- Follow the procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with our client's ISO9001 quality management system.
