Primary Teacher - Alternative ProvisionBurnley
Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a Primary Teacher to work within an Alternative Provision in Burnley. As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 2. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within children from Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, be able to deescalate challenging behaviour and understand SEMH.
Key Responsibilities:* Plan and deliver engaging lessons to students within Key Stage 2 * Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.* Manage and deescalate challenging behaviour using positive behaviour management strategies.* Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Essential Requirements:* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)* Experience of teaching students from Key Stage 1 up to Key Stage 2.* A strong understanding of SEMH.* Excellent behaviour management skills.* Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons to a diverse range of students.
Desirable Requirements:* Experience of working within an Alternative Provision setting.* Experience of working with students with Special Educational Needs.
