Blue Arrow is recruiting for Machine Production Operatives in Rawtenstall, Rossendale for one of the leading manufactures of textiles.
We are looking for experienced production operatives who have worked in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, who understand manufacturing specification and can follow instructions.
You must have basic IT skills, basic literacy, and numeracy skills & ideally some knowledge of Kaizen / 6-sigma.
We are looking for experience manufacturing production operatives to work nights.
Nights 18.00 to 06.00 - 36 hours per week Pay Rate 14.44 for the first 12 weeks then rising to 14.94
These positions will lead to permanent employment for the right candidates.
The role.
To ensure that the equipment is set to the correct manufacturing specification and to check that the machines are operating correctly.
Reporting any faults to management / maintenance team.
All material is the correct material being used as on the job spec.
Manual handling of material onto the machines before and after processing. This is a physical role.
Measure and record accurately the width, Length & weight of felt as required.
Record information accurately while completing all necessary paperwork. Ensure all waste materials are kept to a minimum.
Replacing needlebooks as and when required.

* Previous experience of production work in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
Rate of Pay & Benefits: * Pay Rate Nights 14.44 rising to 14.94 after 12 weeks * Holiday pay up to 28 days accrual per year. * Weekly Pay * Temporary to Permanent opportunities. * Access to Blue Arrow Candidate Portal and App.
