Role Responsibilities
As a Senior/Specialist Occupational Therapist, your role will involve:
Leading the implementation of innovative interventions for clients with Neurological care needs and complex Trauma, significantly enhancing their rehabilitation process.
Taking charge of service development initiatives and overseeing OT staff and students, contributing to the organisation's strategic goals.
Conducting thorough community assessments and creating tailored intervention plans that align with the holistic care philosophy.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you'll need:
A Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration, ensuring you have the qualifications and legal authorization to practice.
At least 2 years of clinical experience in Neurological care, especially spinal cord injuries, supported by evidence of continued professional development.
Strong skills in patient assessment and intervention, as well as the ability to recommend specialized equipment, along with excellent IT and communication abilities.
