Quality Engineer

Location: Rotherham

Salary: 35k per annum

Nicholas Associates are currently working with an established manufacturing company who are looking to add a Quality Engineer to their Quality Team. Reporting to the quality manager you will be responsible for identifying and reducing the potential risks and defects of components.

The Role:

  • The management of non-conformities that occur in production.
  • Escalate quality issues to suppliers.
  • Chair weekly review meetings of process performance and trend in relation to poor quality output, support investigation and determine actions for improvement.
  • Provide supervision to the Quality Inspectors.
  • Prepare inspection and test plans and other documentation to support smooth transition to manufacturing.
  • Conduct internal audits.

The Person:

  • Degree, or equivalent, in relevant discipline
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standard.
  • Practical knowledge of root cause analysis and other quality assurance tools and methodologies.

The Details:

  • 35 Hours per week
  • Salary: 35k DOE
  • Early finish Friday.
