Job Title: Parts and Upgrades Sales Executive

Department: Sales and Customer Service

Reports to: Head of Parts Sales & Development

Job Overview:

Our client is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Parts and Upgrades Sales Executive. This role involves handling customer inquiries, managing the sales process through our CRM system, booking vehicles for upgrade work, and ensuring smooth delivery. You will be responsible for liaising with the workshop team, coordinating dispatch, and providing exceptional service from inquiry to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Enquiries: Handle incoming calls, emails, and messages regarding parts and upgrade sales, ensuring timely responses and excellent customer service
  • CRM Management: Accurately input customer data and manage leads through the sales pipeline in our CRM system, ensuring all details are up-to-date and follow-ups are completed
  • Order Processing: Process sales orders from initial inquiry through to the final dispatch, coordinating with stock and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery
  • Upgrade Bookings: Book vehicles into the workshop for upgrades and customisation services, ensuring all work is scheduled efficiently and meets customer expectations
  • Workshop Liaison: Communicate regularly with the workshop team to ensure upgrades and customisations are on track and provide customers with updates
  • Delivery Coordination: Oversee the vehicle delivery process, ensuring all customer requirements are met, and post-delivery feedback is collected for continuous improvement
  • Cross-Selling & Up-Selling: Identify opportunities to recommend additional services or parts during customer interactions to maximise sales
  • Customer Satisfaction: Monitor customer feedback and work with the customer service team to resolve any issues promptly
  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all sales and upgrade documentation are complete and compliant with internal processes and relevant legislation

Skills and Qualifications:

    • Experience: 2+ years in a sales or customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry or similar
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and persuasive manner
    • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of automotive parts and vehicle upgrades, particularly for VW Transporter, Ford Transit Custom, Ford Rangers and VW Amarok’s, would be advantageous
    • Organisation: Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple orders, inquiries, and bookings simultaneously
    • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other related software
    • Customer-Oriented: A passion for delivering top-notch customer service and building long-term customer relationships
