Finance Assistant - Accounts Payable

Our client, an enviable employer in the local area, is looking to add an experienced Finance Assistant to their team.

This role will be responsible for provision of comprehensive accounting support across the organisation, working closely with the other staff within the department, ensuring that best practice with all necessary financial legislation and processes is followed.

Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Purchase Orders
• Invoicing
• Using SAGE
• Reconciliation of accounts and credit card
• Logging expenses
• Payroll
• Assistance in preparation of report and audits
• VAT

The ideal candidate will have experience in working in a varied accounts role. They will be able to multi-task and prioritise to be able to meet deadlines.

Experience of working in an industry that is reliant on funding as an income stream would be desirable.
