Specialising in a comprehensive range of tank products, our client is committed to excellence and innovation. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join their team at their Rotherham facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC press brake, laser cutter, and punch machines safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to fabricate metal components with precision.
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to meet production targets while ensuring quality standards.
- Perform regular inspections to maintain product quality and compliance with company procedures.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating CNC press brake, laser, or punch machines. Experience with machine programming is a bonus.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
- Previous experience in metal fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality components.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong organisational, time management, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and engineering software (training will be provided).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
