Position: Outbound Sales Agent
Location: Remote
Department: Sales
Reports to: Sales Manager
Employment Type: Full Time

Shifts Patterns: Either shift pattern 1, or shift pattern 2

Shift Pattern 1: Must be available for both shift patterns below.

Earlies: Mon 10am - 6.30pm, Tues - Thurs 9.30am - 6.30pm & Fri 9.30am - 4pm,

Lates: Mon 10.30am - 7pm, Tues - Thurs 10am - 7pm & Fri 9.30am - 4pm

Shift Pattern 2:

Mon - Thurs 10.30am - 7pm, Fri 9am - 5.30pm



Overview

The Outbound Sales Agent is responsible for proactively reaching out to existing customers via phone, email, and other communication channels to generate sales, promote company products or services, and meet established sales targets. The role requires a highly motivated, energetic, and customer-focused individual with strong communication and persuasion skills.



Key Responsibilities

  • Outbound Calling: Initiate outbound calls to prospective customers, introducing and explaining the company's products or services with the goal of generating interest and securing sales.
  • Lead Qualification: Identify and qualify sales leads through targeted outbound efforts, ensuring that potential customers meet criteria for further engagement.
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver effective sales pitches that are tailored to the customer's needs and objections, converting prospects into buyers.
  • Objection Handling: Address and resolve customer objections or concerns confidently, aiming to turn around challenging conversations into sales opportunities.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales quotas by closing deals through cold calling, follow-ups, and cross-selling/up-selling techniques.
  • Relationship Building: Build and nurture positive relationships with potential customers to foster long-term loyalty and repeat business.
  • Follow-up Communication: Proactively follow up on leads and previous interactions to advance the sales process, ensuring no opportunity is lost.
  • CRM Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress in the company's CRM system.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide regular updates on progress toward sales goals, pipeline health, and customer feedback to the sales management team.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about the company's offerings, industry trends, and competitors to refine sales strategies and presentations.


Qualifications

  • Experience: Prior experience in outbound sales, cold calling, telesales, or a similar sales role is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and convey information persuasively.
  • Sales Skills: Strong sales acumen with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Customer-Centric: Ability to understand customer needs, effectively address concerns, and offer relevant solutions.
  • Resilience: Comfort with making high-volume cold calls and handling rejection, with the determination to maintain productivity.
  • Goal-Oriented: Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently toward achieving targets.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software, phone systems, and sales automation tools is beneficial.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with team members and share best practices to improve overall team performance.


Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
