V-Recruit are excited to be working alongside an established courier and delivery service company and are currently working with them to recruit 2x Delivery Driver’s, in the Maltby/Rotherham to start work on a temp to perm basis immediately.
Duties to include;
- Driving company luton/panel vans up and around the Yorkshire region, potentially further in some cases
- You will be delivering household furniture to domestic properties where you and your driver’s mate will be required to deliver the goods safely into the property
- You will be required to drop off around 30-40 deliveries each day
- Heavy lifting will be required for the loading and unloading of goods
Role Specifics
£12.50 per hour
Temp – perm contract
7:30am start (4x 12-hour shifts to be worked between Monday – Saturday on a 3-week rolling rota, no more than 2 Saturdays to be worked in a month)
The Candidate
We are looking for reliable, hardworking candidates, ideally with experience working as a delivery driver who is able to adapt to fast paced work and able to provide relevant references.
The right candidate will be over the age of 25 for insurance purposes, have their full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points and no previous disqualifications.
