CLASS 1 DRIVER

WORKING ANY DAYS OUT OF 7: STARTS

£16.00 - £20.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions are recruiting experienced Class 1 drivers for a well-established general haulage client based in Rotherham.

We are looking for afternoon/night drivers to start between 16:00 - 21:00 on an ongoing basis.

Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday days £16 per hour
• Monday to Friday nights £18 per hour
• Saturday £19 per hour
• Sunday £20 per hour

Day to Day Duties

• Complete trunk runs to RDC's
• Curtain side work
• Some handball may be required
• Positive 'can do' attitude
• Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Follow Company policies and procedures
• Comply with Driving rules and regulations

Essential Skills

• Hold a valid UK Category C+E Licence
• Hold UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
• Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving CE vehicles
• Maximum of six penalty points with no major endorsement codes
• Work in a professional manner
• Excellent communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience of working on a general haulage contract is desirable but not essential

Training

• Driving assessment required
