Cedar are supporting a Public Sector client who are looking for an experienced Interim Category Manager. This role will run for c4-6 months (potential to extend) and will operate on a hybrid basis (primarily home based) with offices based in various locations across England. Day rate is up to 385 (INSIDE IR35).
The successful candidate will report into the Head of Procurement and will be assigned to support various projects within the Construction, FM, ICT and Corporate/Professional Services space. You will be responsible for running the end to end procurement process, primarily through using Public Sector Frameworks. The organisation are going through a big change programme within Procurement so are ideally looking for someone with experience in the Private Sector, who has had some exposure to the Public Sector (use of frameworks ideally). The role was also require support on restrictive procedure procurement so experience with this process is required.
Successful candidates MUST HAVE:
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Broad category experience with an understanding of Category Management
- Understanding and/or experience using Public Sector Frameworks with i.e. CCS, YPO, ESPO, NEPO, NHS SBS etc. would be advantageous
