We are looking for an experienced Head of National Sales to lead and promote commercial growth in the UK. As a vital member of our client's senior commercial sales team, you will manage a national team of 15-20 sales executives, overseeing a revenue budget of approximately 40 million. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving profitable growth, developing strong customer partnerships, and establishing ambitious sales targets.

As the Head of Sales You Will Receive:

  • A competitive salary of up to 80,000 per annum.
  • A lucrative commission structure with an OTE of 125,000

What You'll do as Head of Sales:

  • Lead and develop the Nationals sales team effectively, focusing on proactive engagement.
  • Cultivate relationships with existing customers while also pursuing new business accounts in the national facilities management, healthcare, education, and hospitality sectors.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Experience and Retention teams to maximize customer retention and drive growth.
  • Oversee the establishment and management of a strong sales pipeline, secure new business contracts, and improve contract retention rates.
  • Ensure compliance with commercial processes, utilise the CRM system (Salesforce), and monitor KPIs to support continuous improvement.

To Succeed as the Head of Sales You Will Require:

  • 10+ years of leadership experience with strong engagement and team-building skills.
  • Demonstrable success in national-level sales growth and customer account management
  • Proficient in negotiation, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce and a disciplined approach to sales performance.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
