Senior Wastewater Design Engineer

My client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join their Design Team.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Civil Engineering and have achieved or are working towards Chartered status.

It is also essential for applicants to have experience working within a UK based Consultancy working on Water and Wastewater Infrastructure and Non- Infrastructure Projects and have experience completing calculations and detailed designs for Pumping Stations, Combined Sewerage Overflow, Pipe Lines, Pressure Pipes, Water Retaining Structures and Water and Waste Water Treatment Plants.

It is also essential for applicants to have experience of Hydraulic Modelling to develop innovative solutions for Sewerage Projects.

It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience using AutoCAD, Civils 3D and Infodrainage.

Typically the role will involve the following;

-Water and Waste Water Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure Projects.
-Detailed Civil Engineering Design including the design of Pumping Station Design, Water and Waste Water Treatment Works and Water Retaining Structures.
-Detailed Design of Pipe Lines, Pressure Pipes and Combined Sewerage Overflows using Civils 3D and Infodrainage.
-Shaft tank design.
-Calculations and Reports.
-Mentoring Junior Team Members.
-Frequent liaison with CAD Technicians to complete detailed designs.
-Project Management.
-Frequent liaison with Clients, Business Associates and Utility Companies.
