Fire Protection Estimator

Location: Remote or Hybrid (Home-Office Working)
Salary: £35k - £45k DOE + 25% bonus incentives + Excellent Benefits
Hours: £37.5hrs

About the Role:
Are you an experienced Fire Protection Estimator looking to make a significant impact in a leading global business? My client is seeking a talented professional to join their dynamic team, delivering exceptional Fire Protection Estimates for esteemed domestic and international naval clients. In this crucial role, you will play a key part in ensuring tenders meet the highest standards and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do:
Craft Expert Estimates: Develop accurate fire protection estimates tailored to the needs of international marine clients.
Collaborate with Sales: Work closely with the sales team to manage enquiries, oversee projects, and track quotations.
Client Engagement: Communicate effectively with marine clients, providing quotes and resolving technical queries.
Team Coordination: Partner with project managers and engineers to ensure smooth contract handovers and address any questions.
Supplier Negotiations: Prepare inquiries and negotiate quotations with suppliers and subcontractors.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with marine regulations, ensuring compliance and quality in all projects.
Global Interaction: Attend clarification meetings in client offices across the UK and overseas when required.

What We’re Looking For:
• In-depth knowledge of fire protection systems.
• Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in preparing detailed estimates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
• Preferred:
• Familiarity with marine regulatory standards.
• Ability to interpret complex Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents.
