CNC Machinist Rotherham c £30-£35000 - Location is just off junction 1 of the M18.
Ash Consulting are working with a well established manufacturer of precision components for a range of industries and clients both in the UK and overseas.Ongoing growth within the well invested machine shop has created the need for a further experienced CNC Machinist with strong experience across milling and grinding.
The Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC milling and grinding machines. Some programming experience online or offline is essential. Key Responsibilities:
Operate and set CNC machines to produce precision parts.
Programming machines.
Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate machining.
Perform basic CNC programming, with the opportunity to develop these skills further.
Carry out machine maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary.
Work closely with the team to ensure smooth production processes.
Adhere to health and safety standards in the workshop.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience operating CNC milling and grinding machines.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
CNC programming experience.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Salary and Benefits
The salary offered for this position is £30,000- £35,000 to a candidate who can meet all key qualifications and abilities. Also on offer is a pension, 21 days holiday (Rising to 25 with service) plus statutory days, secure on site parking, ongoing training and development, days only, overtime available.
