- Machine Operation: Set up, program, and operate the CNC machine.
- Programming: Write and modify CNC programs from technical drawings to optimise machine performance and ensure high precision.
- Setup and Calibration: Set up and calibrate tools and machines, ensuring all settings meet the specific requirements of each job.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards. Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometres and gauges.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Experience: Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, specifically with CNC mills and lathes. Experience with CME machines and Heidenhain controls is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of geometric tolerances and technical drawings. Ability to make precise adjustments and solve machining problems independently. Experience with CAM software is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with various inspection tools and gauges.
