Location: United Kingdom (Remote/Hybrid), occasional travel to South Korea

Overview:
My client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Contract Manager to oversee our expanding international portfolio, with a primary focus on their South Korea floating wind project. This role is crucial to their operations and requires a legal expert with a deep understanding of contract management, particularly in the context of large-scale, cross-border energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Manage contracts across an international portfolio, ensuring compliance and effective execution.
- South Korea Focus: Lead the contract management for the South Korea floating wind project, working closely with local and international stakeholders to ensure all legal and contractual requirements are met.
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Collaborate with international teams, including legal, technical, and commercial, to manage and negotiate contracts across different jurisdictions.
- Legal Support: Provide robust legal support for the South Korea project, including risk management, dispute resolution, and contract negotiations.
- Project Expertise: Apply your experience in floating, offshore, onshore, and marine projects to ensure that the companies' contractual obligations are fulfilled to the highest standards.
- Occasional Travel: Minimal travel required, with occasional trips to South Korea to engage with local teams and stakeholders.
- Can-Do Attitude: Demonstrate a proactive and solution-oriented approach to contract management, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in contract management within the energy sector, preferably in floating wind, offshore, onshore, or marine projects.
- Experience in international and cross-border contract management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work across different cultures and jurisdictions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to South Korea.
