Astute's EPC Power team is partnering with a leading global EPC Contractor within the Power Industry to recruit a Contracts/Claims Manager for their Industrial Power projects in Germany and Azerbaijan on a 24 months contract basis.

The Contracts/Claims Manager position comes with a day rate from 550.00 to 600.00.





Key skills and responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and procurement agreements to ensure alignment with project requirements and company standards.
  • Ensure contracts are compliant with legal regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Oversee the end-to-end contract lifecycle, from initiation to close-out, ensuring timely execution and compliance.
  • Maintain an organized repository of all contractual documents, amendments, and correspondence.
  • Identify potential risks in contract terms and conditions and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure contracts are structured to minimize legal and financial exposure.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, legal, and company standards in all contractual engagements.
  • Liaise with legal teams to address complex contractual issues or disputes.
  • Manage and resolve contractual disputes, claims, and variations in collaboration with legal and operational teams.
  • Ensure timely and amicable resolution to maintain relationships and project timelines.
  • Experience is implementing bespoke contracts.





Location, remuneration and timeframe of the Contracts/Claims Manager role:
  • UK based position, with travel to the Clients head office in Oberursel, Germany once a week.
  • 550.00 to 600.00 per day
  • Start date - January 2025
