Estimator (Tendering)

Rubicon Consultingis currently recruiting for an Estimator (Tendering) in the HV Power Engineering Sector on a Permanent Role based from Home

Summary of Role:

This role will be responsible for supporting the senior estimator in managing the preparation and submission of high-quality tenders and proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate contracts, manage customer expectations, and maintain client database.
• Prepare, submit, and present tenders/proposals; ensure compliance with deadlines.
• Collaborate internally to gather data, develop cost estimates, and assess risks.
• Track tender performance, provide reports, and support continuous improvement.
• Oversee technical responses, maintain libraries, and manage handover to operations.

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field
• Experience of tendering management, with a proven track record of securing new business and achieving budget and forecast targets.
• Indirectly leading and influencing people/teams from other functions
• Working to tight deadlines
• Proficient with MS Project.
