From this continued success they are now looking to recruit a Lead Credit Risk Analyst to allow them to continue their exciting growth plans.

As a Lead Credit Risk Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and advancing our clients credit risk analytics function. You will lead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of a comprehensive suite of Credit Risk Analytics, including portfolio reporting, statistical models and scorecards for application and behavioural credit risk evaluations. You will conduct in-depth portfolio analyses, providing insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders to manage and mitigate credit risk.

Role responsibilities;

  • Guide and mentor a team of credit risk analysts ensuring the effective development and maintenance of credit risk analytics.
  • Support the build, testing, and refinement of acquisition credit scorecards to enhance decision-making processes and automate credit decisions.
  • Present credit risk metrics and insights to senior management
  • Support the credit risk roadmap and framework.
  • You will bring data to life and articulate insight definitions, key trends, and strategy requirements in relation to the credit portfolio

Key skills required;

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a credit risk team.
  • Proven track record of building a wide range of statistical models, MI dashboards & scorecard development.
  • Ability to model data and apply statistical frameworks in relation to credit risk mitigation.
  • Highly proficient with SQL, SAS and Python required for data manipulation.
  • Tableau or equivalent data visualisation software for presenting insights is highly desirable
