Data Engineer | 35,000 - 40,000 | Home-Based with Occasional Travel | South Yorkshire



The Role

As a Data Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting ETL development, data analysis, and strategic reporting to improve business performance. Working remotely with just 1-2 days per month in South Yorkshire, you'll collaborate closely with stakeholders to shape the organisation's data strategy.



What You'll Be Doing

  • Transforming raw data into meaningful reports and insights.
  • Enhancing ETL processes, reducing technical debt, and driving automation.
  • Supporting the Data Strategy Manager in developing a robust Data Warehouse.
  • Providing technical expertise on client-facing calls.
  • Improving data quality, technical standards, and reporting systems.


What We're Looking For

  • Expertise in Power BI (Power Query & DAX) and Google GCP tools (BigQuery, Looker).
  • Strong ability to analyse and present complex data in a simple, actionable way.
  • Knowledge of data-related laws and best practices.
  • A stakeholder-focused mindset, with the ability to drive data transformation.
