Data Engineer | 35,000 - 40,000 | Home-Based with Occasional Travel | South Yorkshire

The Role

As a Data Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting ETL development, data analysis, and strategic reporting to improve business performance. Working remotely with just 1-2 days per month in South Yorkshire, you'll collaborate closely with stakeholders to shape the organisation's data strategy.

What You'll Be Doing

Transforming raw data into meaningful reports and insights.
Enhancing ETL processes, reducing technical debt, and driving automation.
Supporting the Data Strategy Manager in developing a robust Data Warehouse.
Providing technical expertise on client-facing calls.
Improving data quality, technical standards, and reporting systems.

What We're Looking For

Expertise in Power BI (Power Query & DAX) and Google GCP tools (BigQuery, Looker).
Strong ability to analyse and present complex data in a simple, actionable way.
Knowledge of data-related laws and best practices.
A stakeholder-focused mindset, with the ability to drive data transformation.
