Unique School Solutions are looking for anenthusiastic Bilingual Teaching Assistant to join a primaryschool in S61, Rotherham. This role is supporting pupilsacross all primary year groups, ages 5-11 years with additional language needs in Czech, Roma, Slovak.
The school is at the heart of a large multiculturalcommunity in Rotherham, where the children love to learn. The curriculumis varied and rich in content, providing children with skills and experienceswhich will equip them well for secondary school.
The school is looking for a Bilingual Teaching Assistanton a full-time basis from September 2024. The role will initially be a temporary role via Unique School Solutions with the opportunity to secure a permanentrole directly with the school following a successfulprobation period.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a Level 3 qualificationsupporting teaching & learning
- Have proven experienceworking as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school
- Be experiencedworkingwith EAL children
- Be bilingual and speak one of the following languages Czech, Roma, Slovak to support EAL pupils and liaise with parents and carers
- Provide small group and one-to-one interventions following thedirection of the class teacher
