Electrical Certification Engineer - Electric Powertrain / Batteries / Propulsion Systems

ARCA Resourcing is partnered with a business that are at the forefront of future mobility who are looking for an Electrical Certification Engineer to join their expanding team.

You will serve as a CVE, responsible for independently verifying compliance demonstrations of powertrain systems under Design Organization Approval (DOA) for Certification and Airworthiness programmes, adhering to UK CAA/EASA Part 21J or equivalent standards.

You will collaborate closely with SME’s within the powertrain team to guarantee that all powertrain operations adhere to regulatory compliance standards and rigorous safety protocols, in coordination with other technical areas.

As an integral part of the Powertrain/Airworthiness team, you will play a crucial role in advancing in-house expertise, specialized knowledge, and capabilities.

Experience:

  • Certification of Electric Powertrain / Batteries / Propulsion Systems
  • Interacting with UK CAA/FAA/EASA authorities
  • Design Organisation Approval
  • Part 21 regulations
  • It would be beneficial if you had experience / knowledge of EASA SC VTOL and SC E-19 certifications

The Powertrain / Airworthiness team is based out of Bristol, but hybrid working with a focus on remote working (UK) is available.
