Shutdown Engineers (Electrical Bias)
Location: Rotherham
Contract Length: 3-6 months
Hourly Rate: £32-£33p/h DOE
Shifts: Thursday and Friday – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (24 hours p/w)
We are seeking Shutdown Engineers to join a leading engineering company for a critical project in Rotherham. The role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the maintenance of critical systems during scheduled shutdowns.
Electrical Bias Shutdown Engineer Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a shutdown maintenance plan for electrical systems, including control panels, PLCs, and motors.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot electrical faults.
- Implement system upgrades to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of electrical repairs and parts replaced.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical systems during shutdown.
Qualifications & Experience:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience in Food manufacturing
- Knowledge of or electrical systems (PLCs, control panels).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure during shutdowns.
- Ability to read electrical schematics
