Role: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £40,818.33 with a Shift Premium - Total average annual salary is £43,300 per annum
Shifts: Early Shifts (6am-2pm), Days (7am-3pm) and Afters (12pm-8pm) - Early finish every Friday.
Permanent and Full-Time.
Adept Resourcing Group are proud to be working alongside a busy Manufacturing company based in Rotherham. Together we are searching for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with Electrical Bias to join their busy team overseeing Electrical and Mechanical maintenance around a busy Plant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable longstanding business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintaining Existing Plant and Equipment - Electrical and Mechanical
- Installations of new systems/equipment to site
- Improving systems throughout entire site
- Responding to breakdowns to maintain production - minimising breakdowns through regular routine maintenance
- Performing Preventative Maintenance
- Fault Finding
- Reviewing safety systems on site
- Involvement in projects from concept through to design, installation and commission
- Practical knowledge of PLC's, Motor Controls and variable Speed Drives
- Dealing with Power Generation, Emergency Generators and UPS Systems
Skills and Experience Required:
- Educated to BTEC ONC/HNC Level
- Completed a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering
- Qualified to 18th Edition desirable - will accept 17th Edition
- Experience working within a Heavy Engineering/Industrial Plant environment is desirable
- Experience working in a 24/7 Production Environment
- Having own FLT Licence and Crane experience is essential - Licences are desirable but refreshers can be arranged.
