Electrician

Multi Trades Recruitment are seeking a skilled and qualified Electrician to join our busy Social Housing Responsive Repairs team in Rotherham. This role involves carrying out domestic electrical repairs, testing, and remedial works to ensure tenants' homes remain safe and functional.

Location: Swanage Court, Dodds Close, Rotherham, South Yorkshire, S60 1BX
Contract Type: Temp - Perm or Fixed Term 12 months ongoing
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Salary & Benefits:

• Basic Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 per annum
• Additional Earnings: Opportunity to earn an extra £4,000 - £7,000 through bonuses, standby, call-outs, and regular overtime

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting electrical repairs and maintenance in occupied and void properties.
• Performing inspections, testing, and certification in accordance with industry regulations.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults efficiently.
• Completing all necessary paperwork and compliance documentation.
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to the highest standard.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in social housing repairs and maintenance.
• 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• ECS Gold Card (essential).
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
