Meridian are working with an Electrical company that are growing their team of Approved Electricians as part of their Low-Voltage Commercial and Industrial team. This will provide a variety of work Nationwide. They specialise in commercial and industrial projects, includingHigh and Low Voltage installations. Previous projects have included football stadiums, power stations, factories, gas plants, andwarehouses, installing the HV and LV electrical processes, distribution systems, battery units, armoured cabling etc. Given the nature of the jobs, there is plenty of extra overtime available with additional benefits of a full-time position. Requirements for this role:

Relevant electrical experience in both commercial and industrial environments
Gold JIB Approved Electrician Card
BS7671 18th Edition Wiring regulations
Inspection and Testing qualifications preferred but not essential
IPAF preferred but not essential
Driving Licence (there will be travel involved in this role)

Duties will include:

Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work
Be able to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults
Installation of SWA's, battery units, metal containment, terminating, glanding, power systems, LV wiring systems, switchboards and transformer systems
Working independently on electrical installation as well as effectively contributing to team environments if and when required
Being customer-facing on various contracts, meaning effective communication and customer-service skills are essential

Your role as a Mobile Approved Electrician for this company will involve working on a variety of jobs nationwide, helping you gain vast experience in a variety of industrial and commercial projects. After multiple record-breaking years, they are now growing their headcount as a result of winning increasing contracts, therefore this role offers continuous work and job security within the Electrical sector. Working nationwide, you will have lots of opportunities to earn additional income, alongside all the supporting benefits of being full-time including all travel cover, accommodation, meal allowance, company vehicle etc. With all the additional earning potential on offer, you can realistically achieve an annual income of 55k+ if desired.
