Earth Wind & Hire are working with a global independent power producer with more than 10x international offices. The company are a leading developer and operator of large scale renewable energy assets and have a large development pipeline of new UK and Global PVprojects.
Although the office is based in London our client is offering remote workingas long asthe person willing to travel (at their own cost) to the London office a few times per month.
The Grid Connection Manager will oversee and implement the strategy for ensuring that new developments are able to achieve grid offers from the designated DNO. Ensuring that electrical designs are conversant with the requirements of the grid offers and working with internal stakeholders to ensure the seamless connection of new projects.
Requirements
- Degree/Masters of Electrical Engineering
- Extensive experience of transmission & distribution and the UK/Irishgrid system.
- Renewable energy project experience (Solar PV, BESS, Wind).
- HV experience up to 132Kv grid connections.
- Experience of ENA / G59 grid applications.
- Pre-existing network and contacts with DNOs (UKPN, SSE, WPD, Northern Grid).
- Outstanding communication skills
- Autonomous self starter.
