We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager to join our team at Maltby Service Station, Rotherham Road, Maltby, South Yorshire. S66 8ND

As the Assistant Store Manager, you will be part of the team and work alongside the Store Manager to assist in the daily running of the store, manage the store in the absence of the manager, have a hands-on approach and cover a wide range of duties including excellent customer service and promoting sales.

What we are looking for:

  • Ideally previous experience in retail
  • Flexible to work between Mon and Sun
  • Right to work in the UK

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing instore facilities to ensure brand standards are met
  • Manage the store in the absence of the manager
  • To authorise the dispensing of fuel and monitoring the forecourt
  • Manage stock, ordering, deliveries ensuring all shortages damages are reported within the correct timelines
  • Ensure all the daily cashing, banking tasks are completed accurately within the allocated timelines in the managers absence
  • Manage product availability across the store to maximise sales
  • Ensuring company policies, procedures are adhered to and the store operates in a safe and legal manner
  • Ensuring that the store and forecourt are maintained to the highest standards
  • To see in fuel deliveries safely and legally to meet the needs of the business
  • Manage stock replenishment and merchandising throughout the store
  • To assist with training and coaching colleagues
