Their client, a market leader in precision engineering, offers an exciting opportunity for hard-working individuals to contribute to their success.

Inspector Job Description:

  • Operation of a variety of Inspection equipment (Micrometres, Height Gauges, Calipers etc.)
  • Operation of Faro Portable Measuring Arm
  • Knowledge and understanding of GD&T, Surface Condition requirements and testing
  • Inspecting a variety of Thread types (Stub Acme, Metric, Square, Trapezoidal, Unified etc.)
  • Inspection and recording of all relevant dimension
  • Carry out calibration of equipment
  • Create/amend reports (word/excel)
  • Read and Interpret customer quality requirements

Requirements:

  • Able to demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment
  • Demonstrate knowledge of ISO 9001
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, and lead by example to ensure company goals are achieved and exceeded

Production Operative Working Hours:

Monday Thursday: 0730 - 1605

Friday: 0730 - 1330
